Abstract
Global issuing activity in Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) has picked up, associated with a large increase in filings of well-branded U.S. companies in a broad range of industries. This is being driving by the favorable performance of recently issued IPOs and fundamental shifts in the profile of U.S. IPO companies following Sarbanes-Oxley, safeguarding higher quality listing standards and severe regulatory scrutiny towards IPO companies. As a result, a large number of older and more mature companies have been going public.
